Unemployment Claim Information

Attention Members collecting unemployment: Pay attention to questions 11 and 12 when filing your weekly claim! If you report that you are not able to work or available for work, your benefits will be delayed as the unemployment claims office are required to investigate these issues before issuing payments. If them determine that you were not able to work or available to work, you will ultimately be found ineligible for benefits per K.S.A. 44-705! If you indicated that you are not able to work on your weekly claim, you must complete and return the required Able and Available form or the required Health Care Provider Certification form. If you indicated that you are not available for work on your weekly claim, you must complete and return the required Availability Statement.
All forms can be found at dol.ks.gov/ui-forms and returned to KDOL.UICC@ks.gov. If you answered either question in error, you can also provide that information to KDOL.UICC@ks.gov. If you are emailing KDOL, because you answered questions in error on your weekly claim, the correct email address is kdol.uicc@ks.gov. You must include your full name, the last four digits of your Social Security number, and the questions you answered in error.
